WHAT TO EXPECT

Service terms, in
plain language.

These are the terms for the ten-four services on this website. Read them before requesting a paid service.

“First Pass” — free guide

“First Pass” produces one simple workflow — a fix for one task — and a downloadable PDF, with practical steps and checks suited to your task, based on what you share. If there is not enough detail, it identifies what to observe next. You can edit and download it, or send it to me before we talk. I reply about next steps within 24 hours. The workflow is a starting point for the next conversation, and recommendations may need more information before they can be relied on.

“First Fix” — $450 one-time

One workflow set up and working in your tools. This includes personal review with Alex in a 20-minute discovery call, the agreed build, written instructions, and a separate 30-minute share-out to try it together. We agree on the trigger, outcome, where the result appears, required access, and a working test before starting. Connecting two tools can be one workflow. Any new software subscription is your cost and needs your approval. Payment is arranged directly before delivery and the share-out. There is no ongoing commitment.

Thirty days of monitoring and support

For 30 days after the First Fix share-out, I monitor the agreed workflow and help you use it. We agree on the checks, access, and how we’ll stay in touch at the share-out. If the agreed workflow breaks in the first 30 days after the share-out, email Alex and I fix it. This covers repairs to the agreed workflow; new features or another workflow are outside that scope. You remain responsible for any third-party subscriptions.

“First Hand” — $999 assessment and plan

A 45-minute discovery call, a custom written plan for at least three workflows, and a one-hour share-out to walk through the steps and what’s needed. The plan identifies tools, access, and testing steps. We agree on the work to assess before starting. Building the workflows is quoted separately; software subscriptions are not included.

Access for your fix

I only touch the tools and information we agree on for the fix. I don’t keep your passwords, and I remove temporary access and working copies when our agreed support ends. You keep control of your accounts and approve any customer-facing sends or changes. Submitted notes and business records follow the privacy notice.

A call request or calendar hold does not take payment or finalize a service agreement. I’ll confirm the scope, appointment, payment arrangements, and any cancellation or rescheduling terms with you before you proceed.

Your choices

When we use the guided conversation, you can use typing, skip optional account connections, inspect what you submit, and stop it at any time. Only share information you are allowed to provide. Avoid including passwords, access keys, or unnecessary sensitive details about other people.

Recommendations and setup

We agree on one result and test it together. AI suggestions can be incomplete or mistaken, and estimates of savings need checking together. The free guide does not change your systems or send messages on your behalf. “First Fix” builds only the workflow and actions we agree on.
